Synopsis

Hayati ist Literaturlehrer in einer Kleinstadt und One-Hit-Wonder-Autor, der hilflos versucht, an seiner Vergangenheit festzuhalten: Seiner zerbrechenden Ehe, seiner kranken alten Mutter, einem verrottenden Walnussbaum und der Erinnerung an seinen Vater. Statt sein Leben in die Hand zu nehmen, nimmt er seine Schicksalsschläge hin und ist nur daran interessiert, in der Vergangenheit zu graben, bis seine Entdeckung ihn zwingt, sich seiner eigenen Schwäche zu stellen und die Frage zu beantworten: Ist untätig zuzusehen, wie Böses getan wird, genauso eine Sünde, wie Böses zu tun?

Biographie

Faysal Soysal was born in Batman in 1979. He left medical school to focus on poetry and cinema in 2000. Between 2003 and 2007, he finished MA on “Film Directing” in Tehran Art University-Iran and at the same time “New Turkish Literature” at Van Yuzuncuyil University-Turkey. He did 4 short films in Iran, which were awarded at international film festivals. With ‘Dreams of Lost Time’(35mm), he’s become closer to find his own cinematographic language. In 2008, with a scholarship, he attended to the New York Film Academy and directed 4 short films. He has been selected for Talent Campus of Sarajevo Film Festival at 2009. He did his first feature film ‘Crossroads’ in 2013, (Filmed in Turkey and Bosnia) and it got 13 awards from film festivals. He did documentary series for Al Jazire and TRT TV. He used to be voluntary of Doctors Worldwide and produced Africa documentaries about their aid. They have been screened on TRT Documentary Channel in the name Worldwide Stories as 11 episodes. He published books on poetry and cinema. He is the director of International Amity Short Film Festival since two years. He finished his second feature film Silenced Tree as a first co-production of Turkish-Iranian at 2020. Der Film:” Der Wallnussbaum” ist ein etwas anderes literarisches Werk das uns dazu verleitet mehr ins detail zu gehen anders als die modernen Werke heutzutage verleitet uns es etwas feinfühliger zu denken. Der Film fängt in der Mitte der Geschichte an. Genau als die Hoffnung zu Ende ist sprießt der Wallnussbaum erneut. ( wenn er die Energie die er in die Rettung des Baumes in seine Ehe gesteckt hätte, hätte er seine Ehe retten können). Obwohl er ein Lehrer ist der lesen und schreiben kann hängt er an seiner Kindheit. Hängt fest in seinem Travma. Hat die großen Träume der großen Stadt gelebt. Das Blatt das in seiner Ehe nicht das gefunden hat was er sich ersehnt hatte. Obwohl er die Warheit über den Tod seines Vaters erfahren hat sich trotzdem um sein Freund sorgt. Es ist die Geschichte von Ahmet Tasra, Gesellschaftlicher Druck, Kneipenkultur verleitet ihn dazu eine Schuld auf sich zu nehmen und die Schweigsamkeit über das Gewissen....

Çeviz aÄŸacı Filmi; günümüz filmlerinden farklı olup, biraz daha bizleri ince düÅŸünmeye  ve ayrıntılara dikkat çektirmeye, edebiyat üzerine kurulan bir film.. 
Filim bir hikayenin ortasından baÅŸlıyor. umutların bittiÄŸi anda, ilgi ve sevgi ile yeniden yeÅŸeren bir ceviz aÄŸaçı.(aÄŸacı kurtarmaya verdiÄŸi mücadeleyi evliliÄŸe verseydi,  evliliÄŸi kurtarıdı).  Okur, Yazar ve öÄŸretmen olmasına raÄŸmen çocukluÄŸuna, geçmiÅŸine takılı kalan, travma yaÅŸayan bir Hayati,  daha büyük ÅŸehirlerde yaÅŸayıp daha büyük hayalleri olan. yaÅŸadığı evlilikten aradığını bulamayan  bir Yaprak. 
Babasının ölüm gerçeÄŸini öÄŸrenmesine raÄŸmen, Dostunun seven, onu  kurtarmak için fedakar bir arkadaÅŸ olan Ahmet. 
TaÅŸrayı iyi anlatan kahvehane kültürü ve mahalle baskısın... 
sonuç; geçmiÅŸin bedelini ödemek için, iÅŸlemediÄŸi bir suçu kabullenip vicdan azabında kurtulma suskunluÄŸu... 
yönetmen ÅŸair ve yazar olan Faysal Soysala bu güzel çalışmasından dolayı teÅŸekkür ederimiz...
